Michala

michaela1When our daughter Michala was a year old we heard the words stage 4 cancer. We then heard words like aggressive, chemotherapy, treatment, and counts. Then we heard the words her life or her leg. Put to us that way it was an easy decision for her leg to be amputated. Without that and chemotherapy we knew she didn’t have a chance.

We never want another parent to have to hear those words. We never want another parent to face those days of watching their child suffer. We never want another child to have to fight for their life against this dreaded disease. Together we can fight it. Together we can find a CURE.

Today Michala is a happy 11 year old. Each day when we look at her missing her leg we realize just how lucky she was and how blessed we are.
